Do I need to queue long for the Lempuyang Gates of Heaven photo?
The photo spot can have long queues from 9 AM onwards. We recommend a 7 AM departure to reach Lempuyang by 9 AM before main tour buses arrive.
Can I swim at Virgin Beach (Pasir Putih)?
Yes! Virgin Beach has clear water and is relatively uncrowded. The beach has basic facilities and local warungs for lunch.
How long is the walk up to Lempuyang Temple?
The famous Gates of Heaven photo spot is at the base and requires only a 5-10 minute walk. The full ascent to the top temple takes 1-2 hours and is optional.
Is Tenganan Village worth visiting?
Yes! Tenganan is one of Bali's last Bali Aga villages, famous for the rare Gringsing double ikat cloth woven only here.
