The transfer from Canggu to Ngurah Rai Airport takes 45-60 minutes under normal conditions. Canggu is located on the west coast above Seminyak, and the journey passes through Kerobokan and Kuta before reaching the airport.
There are two main routes. The coastal road through Seminyak is more scenic but often slower due to traffic. The inland route via the Canggu shortcut and joining the main road at Kerobokan is usually faster. Your driver will choose based on real-time conditions.
For early morning flights, Canggu traffic is very light before 7 AM, and the transfer can be done in 40 minutes. We recommend pickup 3 hours before your flight departure for comfort. For flights after 10 AM, increase this to 3.5 hours during weekdays.
The transfer costs Rp 250.000 one way. If you are staying in Pererenan or Echo Beach, the journey may take an additional 10-15 minutes as these areas are at the far end of Canggu from the airport direction.
For surfers with board bags, we use larger vehicles at no extra charge. Just mention your surfboard when booking and we will send an appropriate car.
